Realtors go green (and help consumers go green too).

May 18th, 2009 by admin

The National Association of Realtors (NAR) recently developed the Green REsource Coucil in an effort to increase awareness of and access to green real estate practices. The NAR now offers a Green Designation to realtors who, upon taking certain courses, will have access to the latest resources and continuing education about green living, green materials, green design, and energy-efficient technology for commercial and residential real estate.

The mission of the Council is to inform consumers about green real estate practices, as well as to encourage the real estate industry as a whole to help preserve our environment by building greener houses and buildings.
